Health care
Health care organizations are often faced with understaffing and high workload pressure. This reduces the quality of care and increases the strain on care providers. One of the ways to solve this problem is to improve efficiency. This can be done by automating the health care organization’s facilities.

AEOS can be used to introduce all kinds of intelligent applications that will reduce manual tasks and increase the clients’ safety and comfort.

With the electronic security management and access control system, traditional keys are no longer necessary. Every employee, client or regular visitor gets an electronic means of identification. This is usually a badge, but in the case of psychogeriatric clients it can also be a tag in their shoe. Doors can be operated with long distance readers or loop detectors in the floor, so that clients with a rollator or wheelchair don’t have to carry out daredevil feats anymore to open a door. And if a confused client continues to hang around a blocked door, a message can be sent to the nurse on duty, who can see information about the client and his location on a display and communicate with him via a video intercom system.

With their badge, care providers can get access to each home after permission from the client. Clients can give this permission through the nurse call system. In case of emergencies, nurses can always get access. By connecting sensors to the system, it is possible to send out an alarm when a patient falls out of bed, for example. At the same time the lights can be turned on and the door be unlocked.

With AEOS, health care organizations are able to ensure the best quality of care for patients.
