Visitor Management effectiveness & efficiency

Visitor management is more than just optimizing the flow of visitors in your buildings. It provides you with a way to implement your company’s security policy and to obtain reliable information on your visitors and visits. With the module Visitor Management you can manage your company’s flow of visitors in a simple and effective way.  

Visitor management is included in the standard AEOS software package. It works simple and fast: when a visitor arrives, his personal data are recorded in the AEOS system. After that, the visitor is allocated to a contact person and he receives a visitor’s badge. From then on, all badge movements can be tracked. Entering the visitor’s data can be done at the moment of arrival, but they can also be entered in advance. This way, the reception of visitors will be vastly improved. 

The Visitor Management module can be extended in several ways to make the management of your flow of visitors even more efficient. You can integrate a document reader, for instance. With an integrated 3M passport reader you can register a new visitor within 30 seconds. The Visitor Management module can also be combined with the AEOS functionality Security Level Management, with which you can create a special security level group for visitors. When there is an incident in the building and the security manager decides to switch to a different security scenario, all visitors will be included, ensuring them the same maximum-level security that you provide to your employees. With their badge to enter the building, visitors can also dispose of a locker for safe and convenient storage of their personal belongings. This can be set up with AEOS Locker Management. 

Apart from the standard module Visitor Management, there is also a module called Extended Visitor Management. This functionality makes sure that visitors are only granted access if their visit is approved by an authorized person present in the building. This gives you much tighter control over the visit. The module gives you the possibility to set a maximum presence time for each visit. If the visitor doesn’t hand in his badge on time, it will be automatically blocked. You can also set a limit on the number of badge movements that can be made in and out of a zone. If the maximum number of movements has been exceeded, an alarm is generated.
