Nedap stands for high-quality products and services and wants to ensure that its security management and access control system AEOS is working to our customers’ full satisfaction. Therefore, we offer our customers the possibility to obtain Upgrade Assurance. This is an annual agreement between end users and Nedap AEOS Business Partners for the provision of software releases. With the Upgrade Assurance customers acquire an uninterrupted right to use the latest commercial release of AEOS software. AEOS is a powerful and user-friendly security management and access control system based on intelligent network technology. The essential functionality of the system is determined by the AEOS software, which is based on open standards. As security needs and technologies constantly change, Nedap always works on improving the AEOS functionality. We regularly release new software versions that are based on the most actual technology and contain functional improvements. Due to new insights and ongoing developments, also the AEOS user interface is constantly made simpler, more task-oriented, and more user-friendly. With the Upgrade Assurance you are entitled to receive these improved software versions of AEOS. This preserves the value of your investment and you profit from always having the latest functionality. Nedap further recommends obtaining Upgrade Assurance in cases such as the introduction of a new operating system, a new database, or a new web browser. These seemingly isolated operations can have far-reaching consequences for your access control system. An access control system can remain in place for many years, but to ensure efficient and uninterrupted system performance you need to maintain it and keep your software updated. The Upgrade Assurance allows you to keep your system up to date and ensure the continuity of AEOS.
