Nedap Iberia prepares for big show at Sicur
From 2 to 5 March 2010, the IFEMA Exhibition Centre in Madrid, Spain, will host the International Security, Safety & Fire Exhibition, Sicur. The trade fair will bring together leading companies in the security sector, including Nedap Iberia that will present a variety of its innovative products, systems and services.

Sicur is a meeting point for innovation, new products and market agents. It is the most significant of all the security sector trade events held in Spain; a good reason for Nedap Iberia to be present with a substantial delegation from various divisions of the company.

Nedap Security Management will show the potential areas of access control technology, with a display of the Graphic Alarm Handler that shows the integration between Nedap AEOS and an intrusion system. They will also show the latest developments in the field of offline and wireless locks with a demonstration of how the locks of Assa Abloy and Salto can be implemented in the AEOS system.  Customers can also get a tour around the AEOS interface, to see how easy it is to add a visitor, take a picture or print a badge. Furthermore, visitors will be invited to take a look at integration possibilities with biometrics.

In line with the activities of Security Management, Nedap AVI will exhibit the new VMC system. The Vehicle Management Controller manages complete operation of vehicle passage, control of traffic lights and access control. The management software of the VMC controls which vehicle can access the city centre at which time via which route.

Nedap’s division Library Solutions will demonstrate its self service check in/out and the intelligent trolley - check out system for libraries.  The stand will show how transactions are made between these products and the library management program "Absys Net”.

Other items that will be exposed at the Nedap stand are the products of Nedap LoXS. They will exhibit the control of lockers or cabinets for use in libraries, malls, gyms, etc, as well as how lockers and cabinets can be combined with the AEOS access control system.

Finally, Nedap Retail Support will show how Radio Frequency Identification Devices (RFID) can be applied to retail management and EAS protection. There will be client shoplifting detection systems, labeling solutions and ways of customer counting dedicated to the super markets and fashion industry.
